Licensing FAQ
Track stems are the individual audio files that make up a beat (e.g., Kick, Snare, Hi-Hats, Synth, Bass, etc.). Having stems allows your audio engineer to mix the beat perfectly around your vocals, giving you a professional, radio-ready final mix.
Yes! All of our licenses (Standard, Premium, Unlimited, Exclusive) allow you to distribute your song on major streaming platforms like Spotify, Apple Music, and Tidal. The only difference is the allowed number of streams before you need to upgrade your license.
Non-exclusive means you are leasing the beat. You get the rights to use it and monetize it, but the beat remains in our store for others to lease as well. 'Exclusive' means you buy the full ownership of the beat. It will be removed from our store, and no one else can purchase it after you.
If your song blows up and you hit the stream limit of your current license (e.g., 100k streams on the Standard license), you simply need to upgrade to a higher tier license (like Premium or Unlimited). You can do this by paying the difference.
No. You cannot register your song with YouTube Content ID or any other digital fingerprinting system unless you purchase the Exclusive License. Registering a non-exclusive song can cause copyright strikes for other artists who legally leased the same beat.
Yes, for all non-exclusive licenses, written credit must be given in the song title or description (e.g., 'Produced by MandalazMusic').
